ABOUT US We formed the Inland Northwest Chamber Music Collective in the fall of 2010. We want to give audiences in our region an opportunity to hear chamber music for a mixed group of winds and strings. This little-played repertoire includes both well-known pieces and forgotten gems from all periods. Our concerts will offer works for larger chamber ensemble (septets, octets, nonets, etc.), surrounded by smaller combinations. The members of INCMC comprise some of the finest musicians from the Spokane area. We teach at nearby universities and play in local ensembles such as the Spokane Symphony. Some of us are well-known to local audiences; others have recently moved to the area and will be delightful new acquaintances. We all share a love of chamber music and a curiosity about exploring unfamiliar repertoire. We are grateful to be sponsored by the Holy Names Music Center. We will perform at a variety of venues in the Spokane region and farther afield as well. |
